Clear Brook Wolverines Girls Soccer will be sending two athletes to continue their playing career in the fall at Texas Lutheran University and Concordia University respectively.
Gabriella Flores has committed to play for the Lady Bulldogs at Texas Lutheran University. A four year varsity player, Gabby anchored the central back of the field. Her precision on free kicks and lazer shot made her an offensive threat as well. Gabby has earned multiple honors through out her career. This season she was Academic All District, Honorable Mention All District, TASCO Academic All State, and became a member of the All-Time Clear Brook Soccer Team. Outside school Gabby played club for SCFC and volunteered within her church. She will study Pre-Physical Therapy before continuing toward her DPT.
Emily Mena will be playing for Concordia University. A three year starter for the Wolverines, Emily’s speed and defensive skills allowed her to shut down many opponents through the years. Her leadership and work rate earned her the respect of her teammates and opponents. Emily earned several honors including Academic All District, Honorable Mention All District, and TASCO Academic All State. Emily will study Kinesiology before pursuing an advanced degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy.
